A 21-year-old man was arrested by officers of the Kordelios-Evosmos police station in Thessaloniki after a complaint of rape of a 17-year-old girl. According to the complaint, the young girl, at dawn on Friday morning, while in a shop of sanitary interest in the area of Evosmos, owned by a 45chronos, ordered and consumed alcoholic beverages, which were provided by a 19-year-old employee of the store.
Subsequently, she left the store in the 21-year-old’s car and after they went to another location in the same area, the young man allegedly performed a sexual act on her without her consent. The arrested man, against whom a case file was formed by the Department of Crime Investigation and Detection of Crimes of Kordelios-Eosmos for rape of a minor, will be brought today to the competent judicial authorities, while the owner and the employee of the shop who were arrested for violation of the Law for the Protection of Minors from Tobacco and Alcoholic Beverages, after the completion of the procedural actions were released by order of the Public Prosecutor.
