The community of Paxos is shocked by the road accident involving a 15-year-old boy.
The accident occurred when the two minors were riding a motorcycle and, under unclear circumstances, collided with a car driven by a 24-year-old woman on the Gaios-Lakka provincial road.

Speaking to the Star, the director of the Health Centre, Michalis Kantas, said: “The boy was in a very serious condition, he had suffered a severe head and neck injury, because he had no movement in his upper and lower limbs, nor in his body. He had no communication, comatose.
As to how the accident happened, Mr Candace said: “He crossed into oncoming traffic apparently from the other side and hit the car at passenger level. The other child was further away had fallen on his back. He was in pain, that’s at least what we were able to do and we saved him. We gave him first aid and he went to Ioannina where he went to surgery.”
Accident in Paxos: Doctors battle to stabilise 17-year-old
The 17-year-old is hospitalized, according to iefimerida.gr, is in a very critical condition, with doctors fighting to stabilize him.
