Two minors were injured by firecracker explosions in areas of Ilia.
In particular, in the first case, a minor and his father were arrested in a local community of Ilia, against whom a case was filed for violation of the legislation on flares and fireworks and for neglect of supervision of a minor.
Specifically, the juvenile, while in a local community square, proceeded to ignite and throw a firecracker, resulting in an injury to his right arm.
The minor was initially taken to the Amaliada hospital, where he was given first aid, and then transferred to the “Karamandeio” Children’s Hospital of Patras for further examinations.
The formed file will be submitted to the Prosecutor of Amaliada.
In the second case, a case was filed against two defendants, one of whom is a minor, for bodily harm, violation of the law on flares, fireworks and firecrackers, and insult.
Specifically, according to a complaint, the two defendants lit and threw a firecracker at close range at a 16-year-old girl, causing a laceration to her arm and then insulted her.
The minor was transferred to a hospital in Ilia for first aid, while the case file formed against the accused will be submitted to the prosecutor of the Amaliada District Court.
