This Easter Sunday morning, the authorities of Rethymnon raised the alarm as a 10-year-old child fell into a well in the village of Melisourgaki.
Fire brigade, EMAK and ambulance forces were immediately mobilised, however, according to cretalive, before rescuers arrived, the child’s parents managed to pull him out of the well.
The child, who was conscious, was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
