Hours after the unfortunate outcome of US-Iran talks in Islamabad, the US President warned that US forces will “immediately begin the process of EXCLUDING all vessels attempting to enter or exit the Strait of Hormuz.”
“At some point, we will reach a base of ‘ALL WILL BE REQUIRED TO ENTER, ALL WILL BE REQUIRED TO EXIT’, but Iran has not allowed that to happen,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform.
“I have also instructed our Navy to search and interdict any vessel in international waters that has paid fees to Iran,” he continued. “No one paying illegal fees will have safe passage on the high seas.”
