An unexpected incident occurred in Corfu shortly after the Resurrection as a local channel journalist approached a mayor for Easter wishes.

More specifically, the incident unfolded in Spianada, Corfu, where the journalist Hero Lella was on live broadcast for local channel Start TV and asked the mayor of Central Corfu and Interprovincial Islands, Stefanos Poulemenos, to make a brief statement on the Resurrection.

However, the mayor reacted negatively, replying, “Is there a mayor for your channel? There isn’t, there isn’t,” refusing to speak in front of the camera.

The mayor said there was no such thing as a mayor of a city, but he refused to speak on camera.

“It seems the message of the Resurrection did not reach everyone,” the journalist then commented.

The journalist said.

The reporter said that the message had not reached the people of Europe.
