A young child died in a road accident that occurred at noon on Good Saturday on the Kavala-Serron highway.

According to police, the accident happened at about 1.00 pm, at the height of Paleochori, when a passenger vehicle collided with a taxi. The child who died was a passenger in the passenger car. Another minor and the mother of the two children, who was a passenger, were recovered from the same vehicle injured.
