Maria Georgiadou was in Andreas Lagos’ kitchen at noon on M. Friday, as we watched in the new episode for the show “PDO Cooking” that aired on ERT.
During the preparation of the recipes, the well-known actress even went back in time and referred fondly to the summers in Serifos with her son, with whom she and her son are collaborating for the first time this season.
Specifically, Maria Georgiadou noted that “as a memory of Serifos, I would share the first year I took Alcibiades, my son, with me because from zero to three I didn’t take him. I was afraid because there was no doctor, there was no medical centre at the beginning and now there is. Then, from the age of three, I started taking him and we spent the summers there doing beautiful towers with the buckets. I generally remember many summers with him there because, almost all of them, we spent there.
“Alcibiades loves Serifos very much, now he is abroad and has studied scriptwriting – directing. He has now worked with me on the script for ERT’s series “From Sun to Sun” as script editor. I’m very happy about that because I like a new look at something written by a more mature person who has seen things differently.”
“Because he just studied it, whereas I learned it from experience, some things come ready-made in his own mind. There is a difference, yes, I have been helped immensely by his insight. He is always more direct and straightforward in what he thinks, he is always of the opinion that less, in the end, is the most and the most essential,” added Maria Georgiadou in her new TV appearance on Andreas Lagos’ daily cooking show on ERT.
