Store traffic is increasing as shoppers make their Easter purchases.
More specifically, today, Good Friday (10/04), festive hours will be in effect from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
According to the Athens Commercial Association, the festive hours will be as follows:
- Friday 10/4/2026 from 13:00 to 19:00.
- Saturday 11/4/2026 from 09:00 to 15:00.
- Easter Sunday 12/4/2026 and Easter Monday 13/04/2026 are public holidays.

On the other hand, the Commercial Association of Thessaloniki announced:
On Good Friday 10/4, the shops will be open from 13:00 to 19:00, while on Good Saturday 1/4 from 10:00 to 16:00.
On Easter Sunday, April 12, as well as on Monday 13/4, shops will be closed.
Supermarket opening hours on Good Friday
Supermarkets and shops will open from 13:00 onwards on Good Friday in Attica, in accordance with the festive Easter opening hours, so that employees can attend the service of the Deposition. Most supermarkets are expected to close at 20:00.
