A 31-year-old foreigner was arrested for possession and trafficking of drugs from the area of Thessaloniki.
According to a statement by the Hellenic Police Headquarters, information was properly evaluated, according to which the accused possesses, stores and distributes quantities of drugs, mainly cocaine, while the actions of the police officers of the Narcotics Department certified his criminal activity.
His arrest took place after a targeted operation, which took place on Thursday morning, while a subsequent search of his home resulted in the discovery and seizure of 31.8 grams of cocaine in an improvised package, as well as a mobile phone from his possession.
The arrested man, who has been previously concerned by the authorities for other offences, will be taken to the relevant prosecuting authority.
