Nikos Evaggelatos is now identified with the innovative graphics he uses on MEGA’s “Live News” show. From time to time, we have watched him being transported to shooting ranges, crime scenes, islands, and even the sets of Brad Pitt in Greece. However, this time he managed to break new ground by becoming the first Greek to “step on the moon.”

On the occasion of NASA’s mission to the dark side of the Moon, the journalist wanted – as he noted – to add a touch of humour to the closing of the story. So, holding the Greek flag, he found himself standing among the craters of the Earth’s satellite.

After expressing his desire to see our flag in space in the future, he took action and became the first Greek – without being an astronaut – to wander the lunar surface, proudly erecting the blue and white.

His “mission,” as captured in the video, was successfully completed, despite the fact that the rough terrain seemed to make it somewhat difficult for him.
