European gas prices fell about 20% at the open, after oil prices also fell, after Donald Trump eased his ultimatum against Iran and Tehran said it was ready to negotiate.
Shortly after trading began at 09:00 GMT, the Dutch TTF futures contract, considered the European benchmark, was down 19.24% at 43 euros, after retreating just over 20% to 42.5 euros.
