The action of a 34-year-old man, who was allegedly trafficking large quantities of heroin in the wider region of Attica, has been put to an end by police officers of the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime.
Specifically, according to the ELAS, the 34-year-old man was arrested last night by the Narcotics Department, in a taxi in Piraeus, possessing 3.2 kilos of heroin and almost half a kilo of a substance suitable for smuggling. A search of his home followed, where additional packages containing more than 5.5 kilos of heroin, a hydraulic press, precision scales, etc. were found.
Overall, the following were found and seized:
* 8.860 grams of heroin,
* 420 grams of unknown chemical composition in rock form, suitable for heroin adulteration,
* hydraulic press and metal molding,
* hydraulic press and metal molding,
* 2 precision scales,
* 2 precision scales,
* Ι.X. car and I. car (taxi),
* EUR 725 plus
* 2 movable-telephonics.
The arrested man, who is charged with possession and trafficking of narcotics, was taken to the relevant prosecuting authority.
