The fuel pass platform on gasoline opens today, Monday

According to the schedule, the fuel pass is 50 euros (60 on the islands) for cars and 30 euros for motorcycles (35 euros on the islands).

The criteria (natural persons, including freelancers, with family income up to 25.000 for unmarried persons and EUR 35 000 for married persons, plus EUR 5 000 for each child) covers 75 % of drivers.

It should be noted that the fuel pass is given to all beneficiaries with private cars, which means that those who use cars with diesel engines will get double support, i.e. the 20 cent subsidy on diesel and the fuel pass.

Based on official data on average fuel consumption across Greece. (70 litres per month), the 50 euros of the fuel pass corresponds to a subsidy of about 36 cents per litre.
