Tragic end to the disappearance of 56-year-old Nikos, whose traces had been lost since March 15, as he was found dead on Saturday (4/4) in Longades, Ioannina.
The man’s body was found hanging from a tree in a rough area by two villagers who were at the spot with their dogs.

They immediately alerted the authorities, with police rushing to the spot.
Due to the morphology of the terrain, an operation was set up to retrieve the body with the assistance of the fire brigade and the 5th EMAK.

According to initial assessments, there are no signs of criminal activity, but the exact causes and circumstances of death will be clarified by the autopsy.
The body of the 56-year-old is expected to be transferred to the University Hospital of Ioannina, where a forensic examination will be carried out to determine the time of death.
