The 77-year-old woman accused of the death of her 82-year-old husband in Koufalia, Thessaloniki, has been remanded in custody.
The elderly woman is being prosecuted for intentional homicide, an act she denied during her apology before the 2nd regular investigator. “I am innocent, I have not done anything, I did not kill him,” she allegedly said.
The 77-year-old woman became an accused as a CT scan on the body of the elderly man “showed” premortem injuries to the ribs, which forensically are believed to have caused the ischemic episode that led to his death.
The 82-year-old was found dead last Saturday inside the house where they were staying.
