The Sub-Directorate for the Prevention of Organized Crime of Northern Greece has solved a case of a series of armed robberies that took place in coffee shops and gambling agencies in Thessaloniki.

According to a police statement, a case was filed against a 33-year-old foreigner for committing repeated robberies, as well as for violation of the legislation on weapons.

In particular, the robberies were committed during the period from December 2024 to January 2025 in the wider area of Thessaloniki. The accused, having his facial features covered, entered stores and with the threat of sharp objects (knife, pocket knife), removed sums of money from employees.
