Oil prices are rising again, with the WTI barrel breaking the symbolic one hundred dollar barrier again and that of North Sea Brent at around one hundred and sixteen, as there is no sign of a de-escalation of the war in the Middle East.

The price of a barrel of West Texas Intermediate, a US benchmark variety for delivery in May, was up 3.50% at $103.13, a few minutes after Asian markets opened. That of North Sea Brent was up 2.98 percent at $115.93.
