The arrest of a 36-year-old domestic woman for arson in a supermarket store in the area of Patission was made by police officers of the Athens Sub-Directorate for the Investigation and Detection of Crimes.
According to the Greek police, the fire broke out in the midnight hours of May 12, causing damage to the store. A special police team was formed for the case, which, after evaluating information and evidence, identified and arrested the 36-year-old woman the following evening.
As the investigation revealed, the woman approached the supermarket on foot and caused the fire, which resulted in property damage.
A case was filed against her for arson and damage to property belonging to another person, and she was taken to the relevant prosecutor.
