Hours before crucial talks begin in Islamabad on Middle East peace, Donald Trump has stressed that Iran will open the Strait of Hormuz.

The US President, Donald Trump, even said Iran “has “no cards in its hand” to move forward in the negotiations except for the Strait of Hormuz, which it is using to blackmail the rest of the world.

Recall that Iran has stopped the free passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz – a strategic transit point for the global hydrocarbon trade – since the start of the war.

“The Iranians don’t seem to realise that they have no cards in their hands except short-term blackmail of the rest of the world using international sea lanes. The only reason the Iranians are still alive today is to negotiate,” the US President wrote on Truth Social.
