U.S. President Donald Trump said he will send immigration and customs agents tomorrow, Monday, to assist Transportation Security Administration (TSA) personnel at U.S. airports.

“On Monday, ICE will go to airports to assist our wonderful TSA Agents who have stayed on the job,” he said in a post today on social media outlet Truth Social.

Trump had threatened on Saturday that he would deploy ICE agents to airports on Monday if Democrats in Congress did not immediately agree to funding for airport security.
