Donald Trump said at a White House event that the US could get Iran’s oil.
Of course, he expressed doubts about the patience of the American public to support such an action.
“We can just take their oil. But I’m not sure if the people in our country have the patience to do that,” Trump said in a statement released via video online.
The US president also said he understood the pressure to complete military operations, stressing: “I’d rather just take the oil, but the citizens are saying ‘just win and go home’. And that’s fine, because we have plenty of oil.”
