Six shop burglaries in eleven days were allegedly committed by four people in areas of the municipality of Neapolis-Sikeon, in Thessaloniki, a police investigation has revealed. Three men and one woman were identified as the perpetrators, including a 23-year-old man who is already incarcerated in a detention centre.
According to the investigation by police officers of the Neapolis-Sikeon Crime Investigation and Detection Department, the burglaries appear to have been committed last month, between February 3 and 14. Acting jointly, the defendants removed tobacco products, alcoholic beverages and convenience goods, as well as two laptops, five tablets and the sum of 2,050 euros, with the total value of the stolen goods estimated by the police at 7,500 euros.
A case file for aggravated theft was formed against them, which will be submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki.
