At least three reports of UFO or UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) sightings over Greek territory are included in declassified documents released by the Pentagon.
The first record relates to an incident on October 27, 2023. According to the document, a circular object of small size was detected moving very close to the sea surface. The object reportedly made multiple 90-degree turns at an estimated speed of about 80 miles per hour before being lost to surveillance systems.
The second report was recorded two days later, on October 29, 2023. The object was again described as circular and small, and according to the document moved straight over the sea towards land before disappearing from the operators’ view.
A third unresolved UAP report, with a record date of January 2024, is also included in the declassified files.
The first batch of documents posted on a special Pentagon platform includes a total of 162 files, including State Department cables, FBI documents, and transcripts of NASA manned mission conversations.
In one of the testimonies, a drone pilot describes seeing a bright object with a bright glow and “streaks of light” inside, which remained visible for a few seconds before disappearing.
Among the files is also included a photo from the 1972 Apollo 17 Moon Landing mission, which shows three bright dots in a triangular formation. According to the Pentagon, there is no definitive conclusion on the nature of the phenomenon, but preliminary analysis points to a possible “material object.”
