Petros Kokkalis announced his departure from the leadership of the Cosmos party, announcing that he is stepping down as founder and secretary of the political body he created in 2024.
The development was confirmed by the party’s co-chairman, Nikos Raptis, via a post on social media.
As he notes, Petros Kokkalis’ decision marks the end of the political project, arguing that “his resignation cancels the entire project and validates its political failure”.
N. Raptis also announced that he himself intends to resign from office, considering that there is no longer any reason for him to hold it.
