The Ministry of Health received ten automated external defibrillators, donated by the company “Stoiximan” as part of the “Stoiximan Heroes” social responsibility program.
The handover took place in the presence of Deputy Minister of Health Marios Themistokleous and Stoiximan CEO Nikos Fligos.
The defibrillators will be distributed to sports clubs and associations, helping to enhance safety at sports venues and enable immediate response to emergencies, where the time of intervention is critical.
“Strengthening the immediate response to emergencies is a critical factor in protecting human life. The donation of 10 additional automated external defibrillators by Stoiximan makes a substantial contribution in this direction and reinforces the effort to ensure greater availability of critical equipment where it may be needed,” stated Mr. Themistokleous.
For his part, Mr. Fligos stated that for “Stoiximan, sports are not just about top-tier events, great moments, and powerful emotions. Above all, it is about the people: the athletes, the fans, the families, and the communities that come together around the game. The donation of 10 defibrillators to the Ministry of Health, as part of Stoiximan Heroes, serves precisely this belief. Access to a defibrillator at a critical moment can save a life. At a time when global soccer is once again in the spotlight, with the start of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, we want to send a clear message: the love of sports must be accompanied by care, prevention, and responsibility.”
