Iran reiterated today that the US naval blockade is “not only a violation of the ceasefire” but also “an illegal and criminal act”, as the US president accused Tehran of violating the ceasefire in the Strait of Hormuz.
“Deliberately inflicting a collective punishment on the Iranian people is tantamount to a war crime and a crime against humanity,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei wrote in X.
Donald Trump, for his part, today accused Tehran of violating the ceasefire between the two countries by attacking ships in the Stena.
