A 31-year-old Swiss man wounded three people with a knife at Vintertur train station near Zurich, local police said.
The suspect was arrested.
“Shortly after 8:30 a.m., a man stabbed three people with a knife at the Windsor station.
The suspected attacker, a 31-year-old Swiss man, has been arrested by police,” Zurich cantonal police said, clarifying that the motive for the attack was being investigated.
An eyewitness who spoke to Swiss newspaper Blick noted: “I heard a man behind me shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ five or six times in a very loud and agitated way.”
