Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bayer Ghalibaf warned today that his country “has not even begun” its confrontation with the US, a day after the exchanges of fire in the Strait of Hormuz.

“We are well aware that the continuation of the current situation is intolerable for the US, at a time when we have not even begun,” Galibaf wrote in Persian on his X account.

He added that the US and its allies have compromised maritime and energy security and assessed that “their malign presence is diminishing” in the Middle East.
