A foreign man was the victim of an armed attack on Wednesday afternoon inside the mobile phone shop he runs on Patision Street in Patissia.

Specifically, according to the police, at about 6:30 p.m., a man entered the store and shot the owner in both legs. The suspect then got into a vehicle where three accomplices of Albanian origin were waiting for him and fled.

As it became known by the police, the vehicle of the perpetrators was spotted on Kifissos Avenue and after a chase was stopped at the height of Tsunda Street, on the road to Lamia. Police arrested three of the four occupants while the fourth, who managed to escape, is wanted.

The owner of the shop was taken by ambulance to the Red Cross Hospital where he is being treated out of danger.
