The BrainReGain Initiative’s Annual Conference, entitled “RETURN. TALENT. IMPACT.”, will take place on Friday 29 May 2026 at the Athens Concert Hall (Nikos Skalkotas Hall), presenting the Initiative’s new 360° model for connecting global Greek talent with the future of Greece.
Through a contemporary approach, BrainReGain moves from the brain drain debate to an integrated model of connection, international experience, collaboration and reconnection with Greece.
The new actions BrainExplore, BrainExchange and BrainReConnect, with a special focus on the new generation, international experience and connecting with the diaspora, as well as the special action for the health sector “Health Returns Home” will be presented at the conference.
In parallel, the results of the Initiative’s research on repatriation and the labour market will be presented, while real stories of Greeks who have returned to Greece will be heard, conveying experiences, challenges and personal return journeys.
The conference will be attended by representatives of the state, the business and academic community, Greeks from abroad, young professionals and institutions.
The Conference is under the auspices of the Holy Archdiocese of America, the Ministry of Education, Sports and Religious Affairs, the General Secretariat for Hellenes Abroad and Public Diplomacy and SEV.
