Russian President Vladimir Putin told his Iranian counterpart Massoud Pezzekian today that he is ready to participate in mediation in the Middle East conflict, the Kremlin said.
During a telephone conversation with Pezzeskian, Putin “stressed that he is ready to continue to facilitate the search for a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict and to act as a mediator in efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace in the Middle East,” according to the same source.
