A French woman and her partner were remanded in custody today by a Portuguese court on suspicion of abandoning the woman’s two young children, aged 41, on a motorway in the south of the country.
According to information given to the French News Agency by the Setubal court, the investigating judge who heard their pleas decided to “remand the two in custody for the crimes of aggravated assault, endangerment and abandonment”.
