Panathinaikos – Olympiacos 0-2: Olympiacos triumph on the Avenue

Olympiacos achieved a big win, defeating Panathinaikos 2-0 on the Avenue, in the second round of the Stoiximan Super League playoffs.

The Reds laid the foundations for the victory from the first half. Zelson Martins took advantage of a mistake by Tin Yedway to open the scoring on 33 minutes, while Rodinay made it 0-2 with an impressive shot from inside the area on 45+1 minutes.

With this result, Olympiacos reached 61 points and remained at -5 from leader AEK, keeping their title hopes alive. On the other hand, the “cloverleaf” remained on 50 points.

In the next round, the Piraeus team will face PAOK away at Toumba, while Panathinaikos will welcome AEK at Leophoros.
