With Fournier scoring a career-high 36 points, Olympiacos downed Fenerbahce 104-87 in a Euroleague postseason game and is now 21-11, trailing only the Turks, who are 22-9.
The game started with the Turks being very accurate and taking the lead, which they maintained throughout the first quarter, which ended with a score of 23-29.
Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team had 6/10 threes in that span and seemed to be in control, but Fournier stepped up in the second quarter. The Frenchman was unstoppable and scored 15 points in that time (17 in the entire first half), and as a result Giorgos Bartzokas’ team went into the locker room with a 48-46 lead.
