At least four people were killed and 127 others wounded, including 39 hospital staff members, by Israeli airstrikes yesterday in the southern Lebanese city of Tyre, Lebanon’s health ministry said today.
The raids caused extensive damage to Jabal Amel Hospital, one of the city’s main medical facilities, the ministry said in a statement.
“Four doctors, 27 nurses and eight staff members of the hospital were injured, four of whom are in critical condition in an intensive care unit.”
