The pharmaceutical company involved in the treatment was invited to the White House as part of an agreement with the US government to lower the prices of certain drugs on the US market. “It’s really impressive,” Trump said, noting: “He was 100 percent deaf and now he can hear his mother say ‘I love you’ to him.”
For her part, the boy’s mother said that after treatment and surgery, the boy can now hear music, which she is very excited about. As she said, “he likes listening to music, dancing and playing musical instruments.”
