Katerina Kainourgiou and her colleagues opened a discussion on the so-called “fallout” in Greek television on Tuesday morning (24/3). The Alpha presenter stressed that when some shows are obsessed with faces and insist on “hitting” them unjustifiably, it is their inalienable right not to want to grant statements to their cameras.
“I’ve had the reporter be very, very polite but from a show where I’m constantly insulted. So why should I sit down to talk? I have no problem with the guy, he’s polite and sweet. But should I sit down afterwards to be insulted when they never say a good word?”
“You can’t always impose what you want. I’ve been through it myself for 15 years. It’s not easy, especially when you are at the beginning of your career,” Froso Kyriazi noted, when Stefanos Konstantinidis stressed that it is up to the discretion of each reporter.
“There are shows that are obsessed with certain people and they are usually entertainment. We may have done this in the past and other shows. For a person not to want to talk to you because they think you haven’t treated them well and haven’t spoken nicely about them is their right,” Katerina Kainourgiou stressed.
