A thirteen-year-old student stabbed his teacher today in front of the school entrance in Bergamo, northern Italy.
The teacher is 57 years old and was immediately taken to hospital. According to information received so far, her life is not in danger.
The 13-year-old, according to eyewitnesses, videotaped the attack with a cell phone. He was wearing a shirt with “vendetta” written on it and military-style pants.
In record time, a professor and two administrators subdued him and found that he also had a BB gun in his pocket. For the remaining students, special support from a team of psychologists was activated , as is provided in such cases, and then parents were asked to pick up their children from school before the normal end time.
