Israel launched three waves of attacks against Iran on Friday, targeting nuclear program factories and munitions facilities.
The IDF said it attacked with over 50 aircraft in 3 different areas of Iran. Israel claims it struck in Arak a key infrastructure for producing plutonium for nuclear weapons and a “unique” facility in Iran used to produce the explosives needed for the uranium enrichment process, located in Yazd.
In addition to these, ammunition production facilities that supplied weapons to Hamas, Hezbollah and other organizations were also hit.
The following were attacked:
Military industry used to produce ammunition.
An Iranian Ministry of Defense facility used for the production and development of advanced explosives. The facility has served as a source of ammunition supply for the regime’s terrorist arms, including the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist organizations.
Facility for the production of components for ballistic missiles and anti-aircraft missiles.
In a statement, the IDF said “The Israel Defense Forces continue to deepen the damage to the regime’s military industries in order to deprive it of the production capabilities it has built over the years,”
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) had said the same nuclear plant was hit on March 24 and 17.
