Explosions were heard in Jerusalem, French News Agency (AFP) reporters reported, following an alert issued by the army of an Iranian missile approach.
At least four explosions were heard as sirens sounded in the city and the army warned residents to take shelter after “identifying missiles fired from Iran towards the territory of the state of Israel.”
The army added that “its defense systems were activated to intercept the threat.”
