The Israeli military said this evening that it killed more than 180 militants of the Islamist movement Hezbollah, an ally of Tehran, on Wednesday during its unprecedented massive and simultaneous airstrikes in Lebanon.
“According to an initial assessment by the army’s intelligence services, more than 180 Hezbollah terrorists were eliminated,” a military statement said, clarifying that the number is not definitive.
Lebanon’s health ministry said tonight that the toll from these strikes across the country had risen to 357 dead.
