Iran’s Revolutionary Guards: the oil tanker hit in Qatar’s territorial waters is Israeli

The Revolutionary Guards said today that they struck an oil tanker in the Gulf, claiming it was Israeli-owned.

“An oil tanker belonging to the Zionist regime , commercially named Aqua 1, in the central Gulf region was accurately targeted and set ablaze,” the Guards said in a statement broadcast on state television.

Qatar said earlier that the tanker belonged to Qatar Energy and was hit in its territorial waters by a missile fired from Iran.
