Tehran will “abandon all restraint” if the United States and Israel attack the Gulf islands, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bayr Galibaf has warned.
“We will abandon all restraint” and “shed the blood of the invaders” in the Gulf, he wrote in X.
He did not explain which islands he meant, but there has been much talk in recent days in the international media about the strategic island of Harg, after Axios published information that this strategic hub for the export of Iranian oil is now included in military planning.
There are many islands in the Gulf, among them the Harg. Others host military bases and others are export terminals for energy products.
