Iran: Parliament President warns of ‘irreversible damage’ to region’s infrastructure if energy plants attacked

The powerful Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Bayer Ghalibaf, said today that Iran will destroy critical infrastructure across the Middle East region if the United States and Israel attack those of Iran.

“Immediately after our country’s power plants and infrastructure are targeted, critical infrastructure as well as energy and oil facilities across the region will be considered legitimate targets and destroyed in an irreversible manner,” he said in a message to X.
