Tension is escalating in the Strait of Hormuz, with Iranian media broadcasting a stern message from the Revolutionary Guards to the maritime community.

According to the statement, ships are urged to remain at their anchorages and warned that any movement towards the Strait of Hormuz will be perceived as collaboration with the “enemy”. At the same time, it is stressed that shipowners must comply with the instructions of the Revolutionary Guards Navy.

The local navy commander warned that any ship that ignores the orders will be targeted, while also sending a clear message to the United States, claiming that a possible attack would cause a “hard blow”.

Earlier, the Guards reportedly targeted three ships, with Donald Trump initially reacting mildly, calling it “mischievous games”, assessing it as a tactical move by Tehran.

However, the situation was deemed serious, with the US president calling an emergency meeting at the White House, inviting top officials – including Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio – to consider the US response.

Despite the tension, Trump appears optimistic that a deal can be reached in the coming days, just as Iran has received a new ceasefire proposal through Pakistan, shortly before the existing one expires.
