Pamela Genini was a 29-year-old model and the case of her murder was? She had shocked Italy as she was stabbed to death on the balcony of her Milan apartment in October 2025.
According to Italian media, unknown assailants allegedly broke into the unfortunate woman’s coffin and removed her skull five months after her death.
The authorities believe that three to four persons may be involved in the case, although the motive for the heinous act has not been determined. The investigation is being conducted on charges of desecration of a dead body and theft of part of a corpse, offences that carry a penalty of up to seven years in prison under Italian law.
The 29-year-old Italian woman was murdered with more than 24 stab wounds, with her 52-year-old former partner, businessman Gianluca Soncin, the main accused.
According to authorities, the man allegedly harassed her and insisted on reuniting after their breakup. He allegedly entered her apartment using keys he still had in his possession.
Shortly before the attack, the 29-year-old had texted a friend expressing fear about her ex-partner’s behaviour. Witnesses said she was heard calling for help before authorities arrived.
After the attack, the accused businessman attempted suicide, without success. He remains in custody and faces charges of stalking and manslaughter.
