A major operation was set up at dawn by the fire brigade to extinguish a fire that broke out at a bakery in the village of Krousonas in the municipality of Malevizi Heraklion.
With 4 vehicles, 12 firefighters arrived immediately at the scene, and managed to extinguish the flames before they spread to neighbouring buildings, as the craft was located within the settlement.
The Fire Service’s Investigation Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
