Gio Kay gave a delightful interview to Konstantinos Vassalos, for the show “Smile Again!”, broadcast on Saturday morning (28-03-2026). The businessman spoke about his big dream, which he said is to become Prime Minister, his career in Survivor and his participation in “J2US”, which is currently in progress.
Gio Kay revealed that his goal is to become Prime Minister of Greece with his own party, Generation Hellas, positioning himself “towards the people” and not traditionally on the left or right. “My vision is to become Prime Minister of Greece. I say it full truth, you are now talking to the future MEP of Greece. I will have my own party, called Generation Hellas,” the businessman said.
“Many people have known me from Survivor, which was just a strategy for me to get into homes. And now instead of the kids, the grandmothers know me. That’s the first thing. Two, they might know me from “Just the Two of Us” that I sing. It’s that Survivor for me where I was on Survivor with people nobody knows and I became a legend. Now I come here with other people who are famous and I become a legend here too.”
He says his role model is Donald Trump, but not for his politics, but for his career as a businessman, reality show star and showbiz personality. As he said, he is as famous as Sakis Rouvas, while he appreciates Giorgos Liagas on television.
Meanwhile, Gio Kay is working on his book “Nootropia: Life of a Hustler”, which he describes as a life coaching and self-improvement manual.
“I am, at this stage, Socrates’ Plato. Plato was listening to Socrates and writing. I of all the books I have read and all the people I have interviewed and talked to and seen, I have put it all together into one,” he said.
A few days ago, Gio Kay came to blows with Stamatis Fassoulis after he was criticised for the song he performed on “J2US”.
