An earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale occurred at 12:14 pm, 233 km northwest of Athens. According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicenter of the tremor was located 11 km northeast of Raptopoulo in Evritania.
So far, the tremor has been recorded as being felt in several areas beyond Thessaly, with no reports of any problems or damage at this time.
